Microcosm Melody

Microcosm means “small world,” and in the thought of the Renaissance, it was applied to human beings, who were thought to be small-scale models of the entire universe, with all its variety and contradiction. I created this piece as a lyrical interpretation of repeating sequences. Familiar Melodies round and round it seems sequences in our microcosm keep repeating.
