Round Sound

Non-Objective, Contemporary, Mixed Media

Round Sound is a large scale non-objective contemporary painting. It measures 6 feet by 4 feet. Painted on 100% cotton duct canvas stretched over 3" x1" bass wood frame. The image continues around the edges of the stretched canvas making framing optional. Metal tubing is used to give a vertical downward thrust to the composition. These elements work together to produce a motion that brings to my mind music. The metal tubing plays the role of chimes while the round object brings the piece symmetry.
