This site is designed to work with most web browsers.  There are some system requirements in which you may be interested. The artwork images are captured from photographic negatives and scanned to digital form.  These digital images are true color and stored in a JPEG compressed format.  The screen size of an image is no larger that 600x600 pixels. Therefore, to best view these pages your video card should support 16 bit (65,000 colors) or 24 bit (16.7 million+ colors) graphics.  Your screen resolution should be no smaller than 800x600.  You can still enjoy these pages at 600x480 and 256 color but quality with suffer.  These minimums are necessary to provide the most accurate depiction of the artworks presented in these pages.  Thank you for visiting TheArtStudio.com.

Navigating within the Featured Artists Gallery

The first page of the Featured Artist site is called a Gallery set. It has a set of four thumbnail images of the artist's work.

On every page you will see the Navigation Pal. This is the same pallet as the one on TheArtStudio.com's primary pages. It is displayed at the top to the right of the artists logo. All the actions are the same except:

One Difference between TheArtstudio.com Pallet and the Gallery Pallet:

About: When you are within a Featured Artists series of pages, you will go to the artists biography page.

Above the thumbnail images is up to three items:

Next Image Button: Takes you to the first image in the gallery set
About the artist: Takes you to the artist Biography page
Next Gallery Set: If there is another set of images you will be sent to the next Gallery set

Under each thumbnail image is some additional information:

The name of the piece, its wall size of the piece, the type of art, and the graphic's size that will be downloaded in the large view.

After clicking to view the larger image, you are taken to an Wall displaying the artist's work.

The Featured Artists Image Wall

On every page you will see the Navigation Pal. This is the same pallet as the one on the Featured Artists Gallery pages. It is displayed at the top to the right of the artists logo.

The image page of the Featured Artist site is called a Wall. It has a large picture of the artist's piece. The piece is generally large enough to see the detail of the work including some dimension. It will usually not exceed a width nor length of 600 pixels on the screen. Scrolling may be required in some browsers and lower resolution screens. It is followed by the artist's description of the work in his/her own words.

Current Gallery Set: Takes you to the current image's Gallery set
